summer choir

If you enjoy singing but cannot commit to weekly rehearsals throughout the year, consider joining the Summer Choir. From the first Sunday in June through mid August, this choir meets each week at 10:15 a.m. to prepare music for the worship service. Those interested may come all summer or just weekly.

choral scholars

First Presbyterian Church is fortunate to have four choral scholars from the Savannah area sing with our Chancel Choir. Scholars are chosen through an audition process and once selected, sing with the choir for rehearsals and worship. Scholars sing solos, lead sectionals, direct, and provide leadership in small ensembles.

soloists

Soloists are an integral part of our worship life at First. Our members and others in the community collaborate with Susan to sing at worship services. For more information contact Susan Wilson.

instrumentalists & accompanists

If you play an instrument there are many opportunities to provide music in worship. Players are needed to provide hymn descants, accompany anthems, play preludes and offertories, and accompany soloists.
