Dear Members and Friends of First Presbyterian,

Decades of faithful use in our building has taken a toll. Addressing our facility challenges is no longer an option…it is essential.

We have talked about the need for building renovations/renewal for a long time. We got the ball rolling with the preparation of a facilities Master Plan. The plan was based on input from the congregation about what was needed and a priority of projects.

 The Master Plan received a majority of support from the congregation. The next step was to find out if the congregation was willing to financially support a capital campaign to make the Master Plan become a reality. A feasibility study was launched to test the readiness of the congregation to take on a capital campaign. Once again, a strong majority of the congregation voiced their willingness to keep moving forward.

So, we are taking the next step by launching the Forward In Faith Capital Campaign!

Forward In Faith is about renewing our facilities and setting the stage for the next chapter of growth. The Capital Campaign is a special 3-year commitment over and above our regular giving to accomplish these important goals:

• Address deferred maintenance
  
• Ensure our spaces are safe, secure, and welcoming
• Equip our facility for meaningful ministry today and for generations to come
