Background and Motivation
The Session appointed the Facilities Task Force in April 2023 to prepare a comprehensive needs analysis of our buildings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. In the words of the Session’s mandate: “A Facilities Task Force will conduct an assessment of our current physical systems and components, evaluate our current space utilization, and prioritize a plan on how to move forward.”
After many months of research and planning, a master utilization guide for the future, and a prioritized plan to address present deficiencies and future modifications was birthed. The utilization guide is the result of input from staff, cottage meetings comprised of nine ministry groups of members, professional guidance and cost estimates from contractors. After prioritizing projects based on needs and feedback from the congregation, Felder Associates Architecture/Interior Design Group provided the congregation with a facility Master Plan. |
